Studierendenwerk Heidelberg takes care of the infrastructure on campus, from Heidelberg to Heilbronn-Tauberfranken: We’re contact partners for about 49.000 students in Heidelberg, Schwetzingen, Heilbronn, Mosbach, Künzelsau, Schwäbisch Hall and Bad Mergentheim.

Find your new favourite canteen on campus!
Studierendenwerk Heidelberg takes care of the needs of 49.000 students. Many different canteens, cafés and regional providers offer students a vast array of options on our many campuses. We have modern free-flow-buffets, inexpensive meal deals and small snacks – something for each and every taste and price range. We put emphasis on issues like organic and fairtrade food and drink, environmental protection and sustainability. Be our guest and try it yourself!
Student finance
Everything you need to know about financial assistance!
Our student finance office offers services on BAföG, grants or student loans. Students in dire need of financial assistance can apply for Studierendenwerk’s “Freitische” (free meals). Additionally, people with hardships can make use of the Studierendenwerk Heidelberg loan fund.
Housing
Cheap housing close to campus!
Finding accommodation in a new city is never easy. Once you do actually find something, you have to manage the deposit, the registration, your phone and many other aspects. This is where Studierendenwerk helps students in many different ways: be it in searching a flat, contacting public authorities, general information on the topic of „housing“ – such as tenancy laws, housing assistance and more – we will be right by your side.
With a CampusCard or your student ID you can pay cashless all over campus.
